We’re big fans of snack mixes here. A mix of textures and flavours all tossed and baked in a flavourful glaze. This snack mix is simple but delicious. A mix of a variety of shapes of pretzels all tossed in a maple mustard glaze. Simple, flavourful, and addicting.
The mix of different pretzels gives this simple mix some fun variety and texture. You can add any other ingredient you want as well; shreddies, chex, nuts, or anything else you can think of. We like the simplicity of an all-pretzel mix. Plus its a great way to use up the little bits of different pretzels you have.

Adjust or add seasonings to your liking. Have fun with the flavour! Add different seasonings or flavours to your glaze to shake it up. Feeling smoky? Add a little liquid smoke. Feeling herby? Add some dried dill to the mix! You can really have fun with it.
Swap out mix-ins for fun. We love an all-pretzel mix, but you can add in fun cereals or nuts! Whatever you’re feeling in the moment.
Low and slow bake for the best texture. For the best texture bake the mix at 275F for about 30 minutes.
How to make maple mustard pretzel mix:

Makes: 8-10 servings
Ingredients:
150g pretzels twists
150 g pretzel sticks
150 g waffle pretzels
3 tbsp non-dairy butter
6 tbsp yellow mustard
6 tbsp maple syrup
1 tbsp soy sauce
pinch cayenne
Instructions:
Heat oven to 275F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or a silicone baking mat. Set aside.
Combine all the pretzels in a large bowl and set aside.
In a small saucepan add non-dairy butter, maple syrup, yellow mustard, soy sauce, and cayenne. Warm over low-medium heat until the butter is fully melted. Remove from the heat and let cool for 5-10 minutes.
Pour the mustard mixture over the pretzel mix then gently toss until evenly coated.
Spread the pretzel mix over the lined baking sheet. Bake for 30-35 minutes.
Let rest on the baking pan for 10-15 minutes before using spatula to separate the pretzels. Once cooled, store in an air-tight container or a sealed ziploc bag.
